This course will teach you how to test the strength and function of muscles to discover muscle weakness, pathology, and faulty biomechanics. This hour is one of nine. It will teach the principles of muscle testing.
Dr. Scott Levine demonstrates how to perform and interpret functional tests for these muscles to enable the practitioner to uncover pathologies and faulty biomechanics that often lead to musculoskeletal complaints.
Learning Objectives
Viewers will be able to consider and apply laws and principles of physiology and function that are at the center of functional medicine. The viewer will learn patterns of dysfunction and the associated tests to properly detect functional abnormalities that can lead or have lead to pathology. They will be able to uncover the cause of dysfunction, leading to better care and achievement of long-term goals.
